Surrealist Collage

Students were introduced to the Surrealist art movement and tasked with creating a self-portrait collage using dreamlike and irrational imagery. They learned about various techniques that Surrealists used to access their subconscious, such as automatic drawing and writing, cubomania, exquisite corpse, juxtaposition, symbolism, and distortion.
