From my earliest memories, a profound sense of potential has accompanied me whenever I look at a blank page. Creating art has always been a space where I lose myself in the moment, finding solace within the realms of my imagination. Today, creativity remains an enduring force, continuing to shape and inspire my journey through life.

Throughout my life, I have explored various forms of artistic expression, including drawing, painting, design, sculpture, photography, acting, and dancing. As a child, I was fascinated by the glossy pages of fashion magazines, marveling at the beauty of photography and how the interaction of images and headlines were so visually engaging. Watching ballerinas float across the stage, telling stories with their bodies, was equally mesmerizing. Whether through visual art or movement, I've always been captivated by the power of expression and driven to create.

In 2002, I pursued my passion for visual art and design and graduated from the Bachelor of Visual Communication Design program at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For two decades, I honed my skills as a graphic designer, art director, marketing manager, and creative freelancer. While these positions were fulfilling creatively, my body craved movement at the end of each workday. Driven by this desire, I became a certified fitness instructor in 2005 and taught fitness dance classes in the evenings in addition to my design career. I loved leading people through high-energy dance workouts and watching them leave feeling invigorated and empowered. Later, when I began practicing yoga, I found a deeper connection to mindfulness and a greater appreciation for the mind-body connection. Since becoming a certified Yoga Instructor in 2018, I have been privileged to share what I've learned and support others on their wellness journeys.

In 2023, I embarked on a new chapter, intertwining my love for teaching with my passion for visual art in a seamless blend of pedagogy and artistic expression. Inspired by the mentors who molded my path, I aim to share my knowledge with the upcoming generation of artists, designers, and innovators. I completed my Graduate Certificate in Teaching K-12 Visual Art at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and am excited to see where this next venture leads me!
